LMnO is a trio of Ashley John Long – Double Bass and loop/electronics, Lyndon Owen – Futujara, saxophones, pibgod and loop/electronics, and Steve Moyes – Cello and loop/electronics.
The recording is an excerpt from a performance on 28 August 2021 at Peppers in Fishguard, as part of the 2021 Aberjazz festival.
The trio were using a selection of Welsh road signs as a kind of musical "score", which members of the audience could change at any time thus feeding the players with ideas or points of focus on their journey.
This was the first (and, so far, only) time the trio had met in person. We very much hope to do more!
